Indian Overseas Bank Recruitment 2012 for 551 Posts Apply Online

Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) has issued notification against recruitment of 551 Specialist Officer Vacancies. Eligible candidates may apply online on or before 12-06-2012. Age Limit and Educational Qualification: Candidates are asked to go through the notification for the post wise age limit and required educational qualification.

Application Fee Details
: Candidates need to pay application fee of Rs. 300/- in case of General and OBC candidates and Rs. 50/- in case of SC/ST/PWD candidates. Challan must be downloaded from the website and payment must be made at any branch of IOB in cash.

Selection Process: For posts with serial no. 1 to 7 and 10 to 14 selections would base of Group Discussion and/or Interview, for posts 8 and 9 Written Test would be followed by Group Discussion/Interview and for post no. 15 Bank would held Written Test and Interview for making selections.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates need to apply only through Online mode from IOB website on or before 12-06-2012. After submission of application candidates can take a printout of the system generated on-line application form to be sent by post on or before 19-06-2012. The registration number and password generated should also be retained for future reference.

Instructions for Online Application:

 1. Log on to IOB Official Website, www.iob.in and select the ‘Careers’ link at the bottom edge of the page to open the link related to the current notification.
 2. Select the link, Payment Receipt/Challan, for downloading Challan and making the payment of fee.
 3. Take print of Bank Challan and make the payment at any IOB Branch in cash.
 4. After making payment and revisit the Bank’s website and this time select Apply Online link.
 5. Online Applications can be found separately for posts with serial no 1 to14 and serial no 15.
 6. Fill all marked details carefully, check once for errors and click on ‘Submit’ button.
 7. Take print of Application Form and send it along with all relevant enclosures as mentioned in the notification.
 8. Super scribe the name of the post to be applied for on the envelope and send it to Indian Overseas Bank Specialist Officer Recruitment Project – 2012 Human Resources Development Department Central Office, No. 763, Anna Salai, Chennai – 600002 by ordinary post.
